Youth Mission Trip - The deadline to sign-up for this specific trip is May 15, 2008.

Mission Trip - The deadline to sign-up for the trip to Africa for the April 2008 Mission Trip is January 15, 2008 and the July 2008 Mission trip is April 30, 2008.

Director of Child Welfare, Oyo State - CHIPROM received a suprise visit from the Director of Child Welfare, Oyo State, Mrs. Olukayode accompanied by her Deputy Director, Mr. Raimi on June 13, 2007. This visit was timely and encouraging to the children, members of the Board of Directors and staff. Mrs. Olukayode made a positive comment stating that "children are happy, staff committed, environment very clean, unusual from the usual odour of homes...".

Endorsement Video - Richard Mofe-Damijo popularly known on the screen as RMD has been a proud supporter of CHIPROM since its inception and has recently done an endorsement video for us to promote the awareness of the needs of orphans and disadvantaged children in Nigeria”.

CHIPROM acquires School Bus - Our appreciation goes to many donors and supporters who made it a reality for us to acquire a school bus for transporting our children to and from school; recreational facilities and medical appointments. the 8-sitter bus was purchased from Canada and delivered to our ministry in June 2007. Thank you everyone for your love and commitment to the children.

CHIPROM Acquires 7 Acres of Agricultural Farmland - We have titled this acquisition “towards sustainability”. We plan to start agricultural produce, raising of livestock and animal husbandry on the land. This will enable us to provide food for the children in the home and also provide us with necessary income from the sale of some of the produce. We need people with agricultural technical know-how and people who may have agricultural equipment or machinery to donate.

Day of Fasting and Prayer - The board of Trustees in conjunction with all employees has set aside Tuesdays as a day of fasting and prayer for the ministry, staff, management and the children in our care. Individuals may fast and pray for the above either until 12 noon, 3p.m. or 6p.m. every Tuesday or as the Lord enables.
