Dayo Idowu (Founder and President) -- Message from Dayo
Dayo Idowu is the President and Founder of Children of Promise Ministries Inc. Canada (CHIPROM), a non-governmental, non-denominational charitable organization created specifically to respond to the needs of orphaned and vulnerable children. The organization operates a children transitional home in Nigeria. He is also the President of Dorvict Resource & Consulting Centre Inc., a Consulting and Human Resources Management firm in Canada (headquarters in Toronto, branch in Barrie). He has served on many boards, including Etobicoke Extend A Family Canada, International Association of Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services, Ontario Chapter, and Havilah Vines. Since 1990, he has performed leadership roles in the area of social services.
Mr. Idowu has a Bachelors degree from Acadia University, Wolfville, Nova Scotia, a Masters degree from McMaster University Hamilton, Ontario, and a post graduate diploma in Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services at Humber College, Toronto Canada.
Janet Bamikole (Director)
Graduated from University of Ibadan with Bachelors and Masters degrees
in Plant Pathology and obtained her Bachelor’s of Nursing Degree
from University of Toronto, Canada. She passionately involves herself
in the lives of displaced and orphanrd children having also lost her
mother at an early age. Janet is a good fund-raiser and her passion
for children at risk is evident in her drive to work for CHIPROM.
Tinu Idowu
Works as a Program Manager with Dorvict Home and Health Care Services in Toronto, Canada. Has worked as front line staff with youth,Children and people with physical disabilities. Tinu Idowu has a special and peculiar interest in working with disadvantaged children and orphans. She has been a great support to the project of Children of Promise Ministries.
Mrs Ronke Lagunju (Nigeria)
A bridal consultant. Graduated from the University of Agriculture Abeokuta. Specialization: Soil Science and Agric. Mechanization. Her love for children has brought her into CHIPROM. She has been involved in the formation of Chiprom both in Canada and in Nigeria. Has been a strong supporter and advocate.
